Doris Pock - lilli@bikram.at(or just "Lilli") has practiced Bikram Yoga since 2002 and became a certified Bikram instructor in the summer of 2004, when she completed her training at the Los Angeles headquarters under Bikram Choudhury. In addition to her work in Vienna, she gathered teaching experience at numerous Bikram Yoga studios, including Hamburg, Miami Beach, South Miami, Fort Louderdale and New Smyrna Beach.
Preventative medicine has interested and occupied her since her period of study as a nutritionist, which she completed in 2001. Originally from Upper Austria, upon completing her studies Lilli worked as a self-employed nutritionist in Salzburg as well as for Vienna's leading food services. 2007 her son Hermes was born. Lilli is at the time in a shiatsu training at the European Shiatsu Institute in Vienna.
"After my very first Bikram Yoga class I felt that I had found something I had long been seeking, something that had been missing. This enthusiasm has never left me, and the yoga world, the training in L.A. and the people I've met along the way have all greatly influenced me. That's also the reason I like teaching so much. What's great about Bikram Yoga is that it never becomes boring and is always a challenge to find something new - this holds equally for the first as for the 500th class. Also during pregnancy yoga supported me and showed me a way to listen to my body more. With yoga, everyone is on the way, and no one has reached the goal. I feel so much better after every class; my body has been put through its paces and I'm on a high. Sometimes you want to hug the whole world - if only the person next to you weren't so sweaty!…"
